History
EAA was established in 1980 by a group of graduates of Sharif University of Technology in line with industrial and economic self-efficiency and technical education and engineering in the country. In course of its 31-year career, as a result of its continuous effort and innovation, has been able ,for the first time in Iran, successfully design and produce tens of different electronic instruments based on the need of local market, all conforming to the internationally recognized standards.

All research, design, circuit production, hardware and software and the manufacture of metal parts, plastic parts and body and casing of the instruments are done in house by use of latest modern equipment .

EAA has started its activities by producing and supply of electronic equipment for use in educational labs, telecommunication and vocational workshops in the form of turnkey from A to Z. EAA is able to design, supply and train staff of any kind of education lab to the customer satisfaction.

In year 2001, with cooperation of Ministry of Energy, Company has entered new field of design and manufacture of smart meters for the need of country’s household and industries electrical power measurement. Starting from zero it developed the meter according to local utilities requirement with one eye on the international standard in a way all the meter has received quality certificate internationally acclaimed KEMA of Netherlands and Quality Certification Council of Tavanir ( Iran’s governmental power company). On top of them company has also has certificate of ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Requirements Standard).

Nowadays EAA has the know-how of design and manufacture different types of smart multi-tariff single and three phase energy meters. At the moment it produces single phase only and establishment of three phases is on the go for the total capacity of 3 million units per year. Our workshop is over 10,000 m2 and equipped with the fully automated injection, SMD, test and various machinery needed for these products. Overall investment in the plant is close to 54 millions USD. In lack of needed test lab for the energy meter in Iran, we have established a well equipped laboratory internally recognized test in each step of design. Due to the uniqueness of this lab many test needed by local authority for the entire energy meter supplier also carried out in this lab.

In 2008, a new energy meter (Model: JAM-200) with premium quality, appealing shape with a variety of technical options was introduced to the market which was well received. After obtaining necessary certificate production began mid 2009. Its low cost and high performance is very promising for the export market.

EAA was selected as the outstanding producer in the electronic and electrical fields and electronic sector and has received various awards from related local organization and ministries. With over 400 employees EAA hopes to achieve its goal of delivering latest technology in highest quality to the satisfaction of its customer.
